Draft Profile: Bio
Armand Membou from Lee's Summit North High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Membou opted to join Missouri.

In 2022 as a freshman Membou saw action in 9 games and played a total of 303 snaps for the Tigers. He allowed just 3 QB hurries, no QB hits, and one sack while playing the majority of his snaps at tight tackle, and the rest at left guard.

As a sophomore in 2023 he played in 13 games and a total of 876 snaps. He conceded 12 QB hurries, no QB hits, and 2 sacks while playing most of his snaps at right tackle.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Super athletic - Made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List at #. He Wrote: "At 6-3, 320 pounds, Membou has only 18 percent body fat — a very low number for a young offensive lineman that big. Membou also moves exceptionally well for that size. He had an electronic 10-yard time of 1.63 and his 20 was 2.80. He also vertical-jumped 32 inches and squatted 600 pounds."
  • Has the functional strength to hold up against the bull rush, and Membou shows exceptionally quick and precise hands.
  • Hand placement is excellent, and he shows a good understanding of angles when climbing upfield
  • Displays good awareness when it comes to reading moving bodies, effectively reacting and adjusting. Membou also shows a good feel for combo blocks.
  • He’s very good in the phone booth, firing off the line and playing with good leverage early in the down.
  • Willing to attack and punches multiple times to finish the play. Quick to pick up edge blitz and shows no panic, easily adjusting angles and resetting his feet. Can recover and reset his anchor. Rarely late off the snap.
  • As a pass protector, he plays with good balance and holds up against the bull rush. Membou has strong hands and does a nice job gripping and latching on once he has his hands on the pass rusher.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Often gets too high in his sets, sacrificing some of his power, and Membou doesn’t show great coordination between his upper and lower body when sliding back in pass protection.
  • Loses stamina and often fails to finish blocks on the second level
  • As an outside chance to stick at left tackle, but he might actually fit better on the right side or kicking in to a guard spot.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
