Scouting Report: Strengths

• Super athletic - Made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List at #83. He Wrote: " the 6-4, 216-pound senior has impressed his new coaches. TeSlaa has displayed good strength for a wideout (a 315-pound bench) to go with terrific athleticism (38-inch vertical jump and a 10-5 broad jump) and excellent size and reliable hands."
• TeSlaa blends good size and speed, as well as the competitive demeanor of a playmaker.
• He’s also a catch-and-run threat, a creative runner who has good vision in the open field; he’ll be an option to return kicks as well.
• He’s a coordinated hands catcher who does a nice job digging out low throws. He’s very good with the ball in his hands, a violent runner after the catch, and often able to fend off defenders with a straight arm.
• Strong runner with the ball with enough agility to make defenders miss in the open field.
• He’s very good in contested-catch situations, using his frame effectively to make plays facing the quarterback. TeSlaa also shows a knack for high-pointing the ball, consistently outmuscling defensive backs.
• Balanced, savvy route runner with top field awareness, setting up and selling routes beautifully.
• A versatile weapon, proving to be effective inside in the slot and outside on the perimeter. Makes plays at all levels of the field.
