Draft Profile: Bio
Jabbar Muhammad, originally from DeSoto, Texas, played high school football under coach Claude Mathis at DeSoto High School. As a junior, he recorded 32 tackles, five interceptions, and 18 pass breakups, earning first-team all-district honors. In his senior year, he contributed 34 tackles and one interception. Muhammad was a three-star recruit according to ESPN and 247Sports and also competed as a sprinter in track and field.
Muhammad began his college career at Oklahoma State, where he played four seasons. In 2022, he earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors with 48 tackles, nine pass breakups, and one interception. He transferred to Washington in 2023, where he started all 15 games and earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors. That season, he recorded 46 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions, and 19 passes defended.
After a strong season at Washington, Muhammad transferred to Oregon for his final college year. He cited the opportunity to play under a defensive-minded head coach as a key factor in his decision.
