Scouting Report: Strengths
  • He’s excellent in run support, a physical hitter who could also get a look at safety
  • Anticipation skills and explosive, downhill burst could make him a star in zone-based scheme.
  • Plays with the natural balance and ultra-quick feet to mirror underneath, and he’s tremendous at reading routes and reading quarterbacks.
  • Has the quick feet to mirror receivers underneath. Igbinosun also has the fluid hips and top-end speed to turn and run downfield. Igbinosun shows good awareness when dropping into zone coverage, with good route recognition and the ability to break quickly and cover a lot of ground.
  • He’s a willing and capable hitter in run support and closes fast to make plays against quick screens.
  • He’s long and strong enough in his core to steer receivers to the sideline without getting grabby with his hands when playing inside technique.
  • Instincts are outstanding, and Igbinosun does an excellent job in route recognition.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • He’ll draw plenty of flags early on with his playing style. Igbinosun is hesitant when facing the action in zone coverage.
  • Despite his size, he’s not an overly physical tackler. Igbinosun might have to add some weight at the next level in order to become more physical.
  • Feet aren’t ideal, as Igbinosun gets sloppy in his backpedal and can be sluggish when transitioning to close on the ball.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
