Jalin Conyers from Gruver High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Conyers opted to join Arizona State.In 2021 as a freshman Conyers saw action in 11 games for the Sun Devils as he made 6 receptions for just 62 yards for an average of 10.3 yards per reception, with one TD, and QB rating when targeted of 83.8.
As a sophomore in 2022 he played 12 games and had 37 catches for 411 yards for an average of 11.1 yards per catch, with 5 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 122.0. In pass protection he gave up one pressure and one sack.
As a junior in 2023 he played 11 games and hauled in 30 catches for 362 yards for an average of 12.1 yards per catch, with no TDs, and QB rating when targeted of 73.9. As a pass blocker he gave up 3 pressures and no sacks.

- Among his better attributes. Gains a quick, clean release and has enough speed to challenge deep.
- Good strength and effort to run through arm tackles.
- He’s equally dangerous in catch-and-run situations as Conyers is taking the top off a defense

- Conyers has reliable hands and shows the willingness to make catches in traffic over the middle.
- He accelerates quickly and possesses good straight-line speed. Conyers shows solid ball-tracking skills and body control downfield, able to adjust to the off-target throw.

- High cut frame and limited power in hands prevent a top blocking grade.
- Conyers really isn’t a guy who will create a lot of separation.
