He set a state record with 9,948 career passing yards and 105 passing touchdowns, leading his team to the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division 1 state championship game.
Gabriel began his college career at UCF, where he made an immediate impact as a true freshman in 2019, leading the team to a 10-3 record and a bowl victory. After a stint at Oklahoma, he transferred to Oregon for his final season, where he'll be the starter for the 2024 season.
